Jeanette Gooch
Skilled CEO/Executive Director with Advanced Leadership Skills and a Caring Spirit.

Mrs. Jeanette Gooch Graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Philadelphia University, now named Jefferson University, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Management Information Science. Mrs. Gooch also received her master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in Management Science, Information Science.
Her many years of team leadership positions and work under the umbrella of the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Human Services, has allowed her to serve in the social service capacity that she loves. Her ability has allowed her to raise other family members, foster children, and share her home with special needs adults. She is committed to keeping these individuals grounded and focused on their ability and growth for the skill or intellectual development level they present.
Mrs. Gooch’s lovable, no-nonsense style makes her approachable, competent, and able to manage her many roles and day to day responsibilities of running Helping Special Friends Inc (HSF). Mrs. Gooch’s strong and powerful presence makes her family, community, and working with the special need’s population of adults an exact fit for those under her guidance. If you were to meet Mrs. Gooch, you could expect to see an amazing woman who is in her element. She loves to dine out, watch movies, teach others, and self-teach. She enjoys a stimulating conversation as well as involvement with family-oriented communities. Mrs. Gooch brings a loving and robust aura when she’s around. Her property management skills, love for people has enabled her to use her properties to house those with intellectual disabilities. She commends herself to be an advocate for those who are unable to self-advocate. Mrs. Gooch has an uncanny ability to position herself in “the right” places without imposing on others. She exhibits diligence, AND she delivers!
